The Miss Lubbock Texas & Miss Lubbock Teen Texas Pageant is independently conducted and produced by Dream High Productions. This pageant is an official recruiter for the Miss Texas USA® and Miss Texas Teen USA® Pageants.

COMPETITIONS:
The competition is divided into 3 categories:

The judges will be looking for an all around winner. She may not be the most outstanding in any one category yet she will score highly in all categories. The judging is based on poise, personality, intelligence and beauty.
There is NO TALENT COMPETITION and no experience is necessary. In addition to choosing Miss Lubbock Texas and Miss Lubbock Texas Teen, awards will be presented to the Most Photogenic, Best in Swimsuit, Miss Congeniality and Best in Evening Gown.
COMPETITION WARDROBE:
Evening Gown – There are no specific requirements regarding the gown other than that it should be full length, fit you well and compliment your own coloring and physical features.
Personal Interview – For the judges' interviews, you will need a daytime dress, suit or pant suit; something similar to what you might wear to church or a job interview.
Swimsuit – Competition two piece swimsuit (conservative style) . No string bikinis. If in doubt, check with the director. It must follow strict pageant guidelines.
Opening Number Costume:

Dresses (red, white or pink). Dresses are subject to approval by the pageant director.

Taupe or Clear Heels – no specification on brand.

Silver hoop earrings.

PHOTOS:
Contestants are required to provide the following professional quality photo’s – two 5” X 7” color head shots, without hat, crown, or sash, printed vertically – both of the same pose. This photo should also be submitted on CD disc in .jpg format. Make sure your photographer is willing to do this before he takes your photos.
FEES AND WHAT THEY COVER:
Your entry fee is $300.00. In addition there is a mandatory program ad fee of $125.00. Each contestant will receive a half-page ad in the program book, which will include your photo, name and sponsor acknowledgements. (You will have the option of purchasing additional full-page ad(s) in the program book for $250.00 if electronically ready for print, or $300.00 if we do the layout for you.)
HOW DO I GET SPONSORS?
Fees may be obtained from a sponsor, group of sponsors, family, friends, or the contestant herself. Fees may be paid for by cash or check. All fee payments are totally non-refundable after the deadline dates.
The total pageant fee is $425.00. ($300.00 entry fee and $125.00 mandatory ½ page ad.)
DEADLINES: Immediate $200.00
February 1st, 2010 $125.00
February 13th, 2010 (all photos and paper work is due) $100.00
